LIVELIHOODS (ON-FARM AND OFF-FARM SKILLING)

We aim to create a pool of skilled manpower to perform farm and non-farm operations. Persons with disabilities are offered inclusive skill-based training in agriculture & allied areas to promote employment in rural areas. Our training institutions will assess the need for imparting skill based trainings to rural youths and develop curriculum of skill training in accordance with the requirement of agro and non-agro based industries.

Our team can direct you to modular skill training opportunities to rural youths including farmers and farm-women, based on local needs.

Eligible candidates can submit their application to BVJF in prescribed format. BVJF will scrutinize the applications received from candidates based on eligibility criteria and forward the same to the training institution. The training institution will further contact you with details of specific programmes—course duration, curriculum, training methodology etc.

BVJF will prepare and upload Annual Training calendar in this portal as per schedule our member organizations. New institutions may also get enrolled to BVJF for offering training programmes.

BVJF promotes inclusive education for children with all types of disabilities. We support the child we assistive aids and devices, and shall also identify and refer to a suitable school nearby.

INCLUSIVE HEALTH

BVJF promotes inclusive health care to support all persons with disabilities. If you are a person with disability and is seeking medical rehabilitation we shall refer you to the right hospital where treatment can be availed for free or subsidized rate.

DISABILITY INCLUSIVE DISASTER RISK REDUCTION (DIDRR)

BVJF aims at DiDRR ensuring that persons with disabilities are considered during all disasters, right from development of village disaster management plans. BVJF can support in disaster risk reduction programmes, relief operations and also during re-build and rehabilitation phase. We pay specific attention to persons with disabilities and their families since their vulnerability in a disaster might reduce the entire community’s resilience towards catastrophe.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Persons with disabilities are excluded often during natural disasters. BVJF will ensure inclusion of persons with disabilities during relief and rehabilitation works
